We’re kicking off this year’s September Smoker Series with a sizzle. On Sunday, September 8, Chef Jon Adams of Vida Cantina takes over the smoker for the first guest chef night of the month.

Jon’s approach blends bold flavors with his signature creativity, and he’s bringing that flair to the fire with a one-night-only BBQ plate crafted just for the occasion. Plates are $19.99 and available starting at 5pm, first come, first served.

Come early, grab a cold one, and experience a seriously unique take on BBQ from Chef Jon.

About Chef Jon

Chef Jonathan Adams’s passion for food began at a young age, inspired by his grandmother’s wide-ranging cooking. Growing up in North Carolina, he gained an appreciation not only for the traditions of Southern cuisine but also for global flavors, from Korean to Mexican. His journey through a variety of kitchens introduced him to new techniques and ingredients, shaping a style that balances creativity with respect for tradition. At Vida Cantina, Chef Jonathan draws on this background to craft vibrant, seasonal dishes, highlighting local meats and produce in ways that are both inventive and approachable.
